October family fun and scares!

Halloween on the Plains of Abraham

Throughout the month of October, ghosts, elves and fairies will be haunting the Plains of Abraham hoping to come across courageous visitors. Beginning October 1, the National Battlefields Commission invites the population to take part in this feast, as amusing as it is terrifying. The young and not so young will enjoy all kinds of activities, including pumpkin carving, haunted labrynths and delectable treats.  Not a local, no worries.  All tourists visiting Quebec City are invited as well.  These are great and affordable family activities, with most for a nominal fee.  Just a 5 to 10 minute walk from the hotel, a great treat for kids and the romantic at heart.  This is a great fall activity, don’t miss it!  For a list of the 2012 Halloween activities, please go to their official website and click on special activities.
